A new launch cycle starts every Monday. At the end of each week we recognise three listings, and at the end of each month an editor names one Extension of the Month.

The first weekly winners will appear after the first full week.
How winners are chosen
Weeks run Monday to Monday, UTC. Only live listings compete, and the same rules apply to everyone.
- Most upvoted
- Most upvotes received on this site that week. Comments only break ties.
- Most reviews gained
- Most new Chrome Web Store reviews gained that week.
- Fastest growing
- Biggest relative rise in store users that week. The store shows a rounded figure, so a rise must be at least 10 users to count.
- Extension of the Month
- Weekly podium places earn 3, 2 and 1 points. The listing with the most points in the month is suggested and an editor makes the final choice, with a short note on why.
Store figures are read from each listing's public Chrome Web Store page once a day. They are an unofficial reading and can lag the real number.
